Academic Librarian
Part Time (0.8 FTE) Open-Ended
Loughborough University Library is seeking applicants for the role of Academic Librarian. Reporting to the Library Academic Experience Lead, the post holder of this open-ended role will work as part of the Loughborough campus Academic Services Team and will be responsible for liaising with academic schools to ensure that Library services are relevant, forward thinking and offer academic excellence to support the current and future learning and research needs of staff and students.
This is a very exciting time to join the University Library, as we implement the new University Strategy and look to further develop our support for students and staff. The post-holder will be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with academic staff and University colleagues. Together with team colleagues the post-holder will design and deliver high quality student and researcher development opportunities and provide discipline expertise and advice on content to support the needs of learning, teaching and research and to inform curriculum and scholarly practice, innovation and success.

This is a part time, open-ended position based at our attractive Loughborough East Midlands campus. Whilst the role is expected to be primarily campus-based, there are possibilities for some home working with further information available on our Website.
