We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Quality and Culture Manager to work at the nexus of research culture, quality, and assessment, to advance a thriving research and innovation culture at Loughborough University.
This is a full time and open-ended position, on a Management and Specialist Grade 7 salary of £45,585 - £54,395 per annum. About the role
In this role, you will play a key role in the scoping, preparation, and delivery of innovative initiatives using state-of-the-art approaches to support and nurture talent in the pursuit of research quality, such that everyone is involved and is valued for their contributions.
You will have specialist knowledge of research & innovation culture and assessment, and experience of developing and delivering policy, projects, and initiatives in support of research quality and culture. A particular focus of the role will be to ensure the responsible assessment of research quality, visibility and culture, across the organisation, including in response to external drivers such as the UK Research Excellence Framework. This will include activity to support high quality, and broadly-defined, contributions to knowledge, and the development of indicators of research culture.
