Fixed-Term for 46 Months, Commencing June 2020 or as Soon as Possible Thereafter
You will join the Loughborough Water Group to further develop and apply the in-house flood modelling software HiPIMS for modelling flooding from different sources and assessing their risks.
You must have a PhD in computational hydraulics/hydrology or relevant fields and experience in developing and applying hydrodynamic models for flood modelling.
You must have a strong research background in flood risk assessment and management and experience in processing large datasets using GIS tools, Matlab, Python, etc. You will be also expected to have good communication skills in English and have demonstrated interest and ability to publish research papers.
