Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering
Full time, fixed term for 4 months
The successful candidate(s) should be available to start in December 2024 or January 2025
We are looking for one or two Postdoctoral Research Associate(s) on a full-time fixed term basis, to support the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council funded grant: Anisotropic Microwave/Terahertz Metamaterials for Satellite Applications (ANISAT).
ANISAT is an ongoing collaborative research project which will run until March 2025. ANISAT’s overarching aim is to develop anisotropic microfabricated samples for satellite applications. The primary role of the Researcher will be to design and measure metasurfaces.
Transparent Transmitters and Programmable Metasurfaces for Transport and Beyond-5G (TRANSMETA) aims to develop optically transparent conductors.
The candidate should have a strong background in antenna simulations and measurements.
