School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences
Full-time; Fixed-term to 30 September 2024
A post-doctoral researcher is sought to join a thriving team within the Peter Harrison Centre for Disability Sport. The successful candidate will be required to work on the development of sensor technologies within wheelchair sports, whilst at the same time contribute to biomechanical-based research projects of sports wheelchair propulsion/handcycling. You will collaborate in research initiatives within our Para sport networks, both in the UK and internationally, which will involve overseas travel. Applicants must have knowledge of the Lode wheelchair ergometer and sensor technologies, and a PhD in a relevant subject.
This full-time post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 2-years (1 October 2022 to 30 September 2024).
