Location: Loughborough – the post will be mostly based on campus, but with some opportunities for home working, as business needs allow, in line with the University’s dynamic working arrangements.
Package: Management and Specialist grade 6 from £33,966 to £44,263. This post is available full time, but we may consider applicants who wish to apply on a 0.8FTE basis, to work across 4 or 5 days per week.
Doctoral College Manager, Academic Registry
At Loughborough University, our aim is to strengthen our sector-leading position for education and student experience, with an ambition to grow our Doctoral Researcher population to 1500 by 2030. This is why we are looking for an exceptional individual to become a key specialist in our Doctoral College Office.
This varied role is one of two Doctoral College Manager positions within the team. You will support Doctoral Researchers and colleagues across our academic schools throughout the entire student life cycle. You will play a vital role in overseeing the Doctoral College Office’s operational activities and develop expertise in a range of other areas, including a broad portfolio of student related processes, staff management and student casework, all the while contributing to continuous improvements of our services.
We are looking for a proactive and organised team-player, with strong analytical skills and eye for detail. If you have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and can demonstrably plan and deliver a varied workload, we want to hear from you.
This is a critical role within the Doctoral College and supports a wide variety of stakeholders. Your contribution has the ability to impact large numbers of students and staff across the University.
