The School of Science at Loughborough University undertakes world-leading research and teaching in Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Mathematics Education and boasts state-of-the-art facilities and an active research community.
The Department of Computer Science is looking to recruit in any areas aligned to the Department’s research themes:
Consideration will be given to all candidates; we expect at least one each of the appointments to be in TCS and Networks and Systems. We are looking to appoint at all levels from Lecturer to Professor.
The Department is long-established with extremely high student satisfaction and a fast-growing research portfolio. The successful candidate will work alongside our established leading researchers in a collaborative environment with lab facilities to support research networks and systems, robotics and vision.
In the latest Research Excellence Framework 100% of the Department's research impact was rated ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. We have a strong reputation for student experience and caring for our students leading to regular appearances towards the top of the NSS.
Successful candidates will have a record of academic excellence which is contributing to the furtherance of knowledge in their discipline. Candidates must also have a PhD or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate academic leadership and international recognition in their field.
