The School of Science is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join the Student Support Administration Team. The role will be based in one of two School of Science Administration Hubs which are the main service points for all Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Natural Science and Foundation students.
The team work closely together to support all aspects of student and teaching administration for Undergraduates, Postgraduate Taught and Foundation Year students. The duties undertaken by the post holder will therefore cover a range of student administration tasks and may vary from time to time.
Applicants should have previous experience of working in a similar busy office environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to cope under pressure and handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work under their own initiative to complete their specific duties but work well with the wider team to ensure an excellent service provided to staff and students. A flexible approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines are also required.
