The School of Business & Economics
The School of Business & Economics at Loughborough University is a leading international player in research and teaching across business, management, finance and economics. It is a vibrant, challenging and highly respected school, which operates at the cutting edge of academic research. The School is also one of less than 1% of business schools in the world to have achieved triple accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accredited) status. The Management Science and Operational Management (MSOM) Group is one of the six research active discipline groups based in the School, with a very strong international reputation for its theoretical and applied work (details at: http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/sbe/disciplinegroups/management-science/).
We are now looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management with a strong quantitative background to join the MSOM Group. We particularly welcome applications from applicants with research interests in behavioral operations and/or the intersection of operations management and operational research. We seek individuals who can contribute positively to the MSOM Group's research profile, demonstrate their current contribution to developments in their field of expertise, and have a developing portfolio of publications at an internationally recognised level. From a teaching perspective, the successful appointee must be able and willing to teach a wide range of operations management topics, including project management, deliver them to the highest standards and all levels, and in line with the evolving requirements of the MSOM Group.
