Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering

Loughborough University (CREST) in collaboration with partners from five universities have been awarded funding from the EPSRC to undertake a program of fundamental and applied research to develop technologies and approaches that will provide key components to decarbonise low temperature industrial process heat. The activities at CREST are focused on enhanced heat recovery, Pinch technology including thermal storage and transport, and Integrating low temperature industrial process heat into local energy systems.
Applicants must have at minimum a good degree in engineering or physical science (or equivalent) and experience of undertaking a long term detailed experimental and theoretical research project successfully.
