Finance Office
Loughborough University is seeking to recruit a trainee chartered accountant to work as a Finance Business Partner within its financial planning and analysis section of the Finance Office.
In return for full study support towards qualification as a Chartered accountant with the ICAEW, the successful candidate will need to commit to passing professional exams within a reasonable period, and successful conclusion of milestones in both study and performance will be rewarded.
Supervised by a Senior Finance Business Partner, the post holder will work with devolved budget holders across the University to ensure that they have all the financial information and advice that they need to support their activities.
Applications are welcomed from graduates with an interest in a career in Higher Education finance as well as part qualified candidates. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, with excellent analytical and numerical abilities as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships, excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
