Project Description:
To explore opportunities associated with the utilisation of adhesive bonding technology during the design, development, manufacture, supply, and construction of modular bolted containment solutions for the containment, treatment and processing storage and processing of liquid and storage of dry bulk product and associated equipment, as an alternative to, or in combination with, traditional methods of bolting & fixing tank components and sub-assemblies.
This KTP is a 24-month project between Loughborough University and a UK based Globally recognised manufacturer of tanks and silos. KTPs aim to help businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK Knowledge Base.
The Associate will be based at the Company and will work closely with academics at Loughborough University to deliver a successful project. The project will involve travel between the Company and Loughborough sites, as well as travel to other Company sites/clients as appropriate.
