The Sustainability team are part of the University Estates and Facilities Management professional service and are at the centre of delivering the University strategy across the full spectrum of sustainability disciplines, including: carbon reduction planning and implementation, biodiversity net gain, environmental management, and compliance as well as University community engagement.
We are looking for an outstanding individual to both lead the team and be a central driving force for the future development of the University sustainability strategy and implementation in what is an exciting period for sustainability growth at Loughborough, in our drive to net zero.
The Sustainability team consists of 50 staff across a multitude of operational service delivery teams including utilities management, environmental management and compliance, transportation, biodiversity net gain, university sports grounds and gardens, University community sustainability outreach programmes.
