School of Civil and Building Engineering
Applications are invited from individuals with a strong existing engineering geology background, including a relevant PhD or equivalent experience. You must also be able to develop an original research programme on your own initiative and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills which give you the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues and industry.
Applicants must contribute to the development and delivery of teaching, research and enterprise in the Geotechnical Engineering Group within the School of Civil and Building Engineering and create a profile that complements and enhances the School's existing work. We particularly encourage applicants with research experience addressing geotechnical aspects of the design, construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure.
