Internationally recognised for its contribution to the study of sport, exercise and health, the School has wide-ranging expertise, encompassing such diverse areas as biomechanics, medicine, molecular and cellular biology, nutrition, pedagogy, psychology, physiology, sociology, economics and sport management.
We are looking to appoint excellent and inspiring academics from all disciplines whose research and innovation applies to sport, exercise or health sciences. We are particularly interested in people whose work aligns with to the following areas of strategic interest for the School: Sport Sustainability; Rehabilitation; Gender Identity.
We are also keen to hear from sport and health practitioners with an excellent research profile who are interested in working as an academic alongside their practise.
The School embraces dynamic working and welcomes applications from people who wish to work full or part time. There is the opportunity for staff to work in offices in both London and Loughborough.
Successful candidates will have a record of academic excellence which is contributing to the furtherance of knowledge in their discipline. Candidates must also have a PhD or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate academic leadership and international recognition in their field.
