School of Science - Department of Mathematical Sciences
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Algebra and Mathematical Physics, to work on the project "Structure Theory of Automorphic Lie Algebras" under the direction of Professor Sara Lombardo.
Applicants will be expected to hold or be close to finishing a PhD degree in Mathematics, or Theoretical Physics or equivalent. They should also possess a proven research track record in one or more of the following fields of research: Automorphic Lie Algebras, Representation Theory, Computational Group Theory or Infinite dimensional Lie Algebras.
The successful candidate will join the Geometry and Mathematical Physics Group, in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Loughborough University.
