IT Services
Fixed-Term From 1 February 2015 to 31 January 2016
We are looking for an IT professional with Linux, RADIUS and networking experience to join the converged Network and Communication team within IT Services at Loughborough University on Fixed term, one year contact.
This is an exciting opportunity to support, maintain and upgrade the Janet eduroam wired and wireless authentication national infrastructure with colleagues based at Loughborough University.
Our successful candidate will demonstrate a proven skill in the management of Linux and associated services including RADIUS, Apache and 802.1X; whilst also understanding the importance of service management, process ownership and capacity management inline with the ITIL framework.
You will show an aptitude for analysing problems and providing innovative technical solutions through skills in networking, including IP switching, DHCP, DNS etc.
With experience of supporting end users, you will be committed to team working and developing documentation to deliver the best possible service to the eduroam sites across the UK
We are looking for somebody who is constantly learning, maintains knowledge of their technical specialism, has a can do attitude, enjoys coding and exudes positive energy.
