Senior Library Assistant: Monographs and Textbooks

Loughborough University Library is seeking applicants for the role of Senior Library Assistant: Monographs and Textbooks. Reporting to the Content Provision Manager the post-holder will support the University Library’s content provision activity and contribute towards service development via a range of initiatives and projects
The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the ordering and licensing of monographs and textbooks, both in print and in digital format. The post-holder will also support the Library’s content strategy helping with the collection management and the administration of these resources.
Applicants must be educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent qualification and have experience of working in a library, or similar information/research environment. Knowledge and experience of the purchasing of monographs and textbooks is also essential alongside good IT skills with the ability to establish and maintain accurate electronic records.
