Director of Estates & Facilities Management

Loughborough is the largest single site University campus in the UK at 440 acres. The Estate is in a sylvan setting, with a huge variety of academic, residential, commercial and sports facilities and is 352,000 sq. m in total. There are 154 buildings as well as a further 85 acres that is currently agricultural land adjoining campus that has planning permission for the further development of the Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP) and is part of an Enterprise Zone.
As Director of Estates and Facilities Management you will lead the development of the physical campuses both in Loughborough and London. The Director will provide strategic leadership to a number of services to ensure, through contributions of our people and development of our facilities, we remain successful far into the future. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a large team of professional services staff covering a range of Estates and Facilities Services focussed on estates management, capital development, service and operations.
You will be an inspiring leader with a track record of success in the Estates and Facilities Management area, and the professional experience to drive forward the Service and help deliver the relevant parts of the University Strategy.
