Finance Support Officer
Loughborough University is offering a great opportunity to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) team, within the Financial Control section of our Finance Office. The primary function of the AR team is to ensure that payments to the University are received on time, from both students and commercial partners
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a high-volume service orientated department with good knowledge of finance procedures. Whilst a reasonable level of financial numeracy and competence in MS Excel is required, the most desirable attributes are the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, written proficiency, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
The role offers a variety of duties, with the key parts of this role involving administration of the commercial and student ledgers as well as answering queries from students and collecting payments, via phone and email.
