School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Loughborough University's brand new STEMLab facility. You will have substantial experience in an engineering environment and hold an apprenticeship and/or appropriate qualifications. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver training and teaching material. Highly professional, you will be a flexible team player; and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of supervising staff would also be useful although not essential. You will have experience in the use of a broad range of conventional and CNC machine tools, and the ability to apply engineering principles using CAD or CAM packages. Ideally you will have some experience of 3D printing. You will have proven knowledge of and experience in applying Health, Safety and Environment legislation. You will be naturally flexible in your approach to work and be able to manage your workload effectively, to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
