Wolfson School of Mechanical Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering
Full time, fixed term for 36 months
The European project PERAMEDIC will develop the capability to 3D print complex pharmaceutical tablets containing multiple materials and drugs for patient-specific medical treatment.
International project partners will develop new material formulations, deposition methods and clinically focused 3D printing systems.
Loughborough University will develop the designs and manufacturing procedures for the pharmaceutical tablets, liaising directly with project partners.
The position at Loughborough University is a multidisciplinary role involving CAD/CAM and hardware development.
