Research Office
Two Posts
Loughborough's Research Office is seeking two Research Development Managers to help the University to secure significant research funding to grow the University's research portfolio and advance our reputation for world-class research.The roles are part of a growing centralised team supporting our ambitious new plans for research known as the CALIBRE (Collective Ambition at Loughborough for Building Research Excellence) framework. CALIBRE is an inclusive, comprehensive and forward-looking articulation of the research component of the University's Building Excellence strategy. The post holders will play a key role in developing research collaborations, supporting major and strategic applications, improving success rates, and securing research funding.
We are looking for pro-active individuals with excellent communication and influencing skills, highly organised with experience of networking with key stakeholders including research funders.
Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with engineering and science backgrounds, with the knowledge and the skills to support our research strengths in the fields of either Energy or High Value Manufacturing.
