Excitingly, we have recently appointed to newly created posts - Pro Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. We are now keen to establish an EDI Team in which the successful candidate will have a key role.
If you are the successful candidate(s), you will be someone who:
- can help us to prioritise and action our EDI activities
- offers proactive and focussed support to designated EDI activity across the institution
- is confident and competent at operating in a vibrant and complex organisation
- is skilled in co - creating collaborative relationships with colleagues and external partners at all levels
- can provide specialist advice based on a detailed understanding of Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty.
- is equally able to both challenge and champion practice, as necessary.
