Loughborough University has an exciting opportunity to join the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering as Senior Technical Specialist – Electrical and Electronics.
Here’s more about the role and what we are looking for:
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure that taught and research activities are completed in a timely manner. You will help in the setting up of lab session within the school including our STEMLab and the new DIGILab facilities.
You’ll provide advice and support to student and staff in the development of their research projects. In addition, you will be expected to provide supervisory cover during times when the workshop supervisor is absent or not available. This will include the management of staff and the workflow through the department.
You will be part of a dedicated team of electrical / electronic engineering technical staff ensuring a flexible, high quality and timely service is provided to the school’s many customers within an ever-changing research and teaching influenced environment.
