The Glendonbrook Institute for Enterprise Development at Loughborough University's London Campus is seeking to make an appointment in the area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, at Reader level. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, develop and teach postgraduate courses in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and related areas. They will also be expected to supervise higher degree research students, to produce high-quality scholarly research outputs, to attract external research funding and to interact with a range of relevant external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Management, Innovation studies,Entrepreneurship or a field that is complementary to the Institute's teaching and research direction. Applicants should have a record of publications in high-impact journals and possibly as book chapters. They will have demonstrated experience in teaching, with particular interest in teaching postgraduate coursework.
For an appointment at Reader level, we expect a substantial achievement in research, including an internationally competitive research record in a relevant field, and to have attracted research funding,including winning competitive external grants. In addition, the successful candidate should have a demonstrated record in leadership and be willing to take on a leadership role within the Institute. They will be required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic and technical staff, and postgraduate students and have excellent communication skills in both written and oral English.
