The Elite Athlete Centre (EAC) and Hotel is a world-class venue that promotes rest, relaxation, and the pursuit of excellence. Set in the heart of Loughborough University's world-leading sports facilities, the centre is the first of its kind in Europe. The centre consists of 44 bedrooms, including 20 specially designed altitude rooms, a performance nutrition dining facility, café and athletes' relaxation area and seminar space. We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team to exceed customer expectations and deliver excellent service to our high calibre of guests.
The following skills are essential:
Proven ability to carry out all duties and responsibilities of the post, which includes cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, walls, preparation, cooking and storage areas
Ability to follow correct and safe working practices
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
Experience of washing and maintaining general cleanliness of equipment and working areas within large kitchen areas in desirable, although not essential
