IT Services
An experienced IT professional is required to assist with the software development, system implementation and user support tasks for the University's student information systems. The initial focus of the role will be the development of the University's in-house student system to meet the requirements for statutory returns, in particular HESA Data Futures. This will involve working closely with IT Services, Academic Registry and Planning colleagues.
Educated to degree level, the successful candidate will have substantial experience of developing corporate applications using enterprise database development technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server). Recent practical technical skills in the development and support of complex corporate database applications are essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of systems development for statutory returns in a higher education or similar environment.
