The Management Science and Operational Management (MSOM) Group is one of the six research active discipline groups based in the School, with a very strong international reputation for its theoretical and applied work (details at: http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/sbe/disciplinegroups/management-science/).
We are now looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Management Science with a strong quantitative background to join the MSOM Group. We particularly welcome applications from applicants with research interests in big data analytics and/or the intersection of data science and operational research. We seek individuals who have a strong record of publications in leading international journals and whose research agenda would contribute positively to the MSOM Group's research profile. From a teaching perspective, the successful appointee must be able and willing to teach a wide range of management science and data science topics, including forecasting and data mining with applications to business problems, deliver them to the highest standards and all levels and in line with the evolving requirements of the MSOM Group.
