Fixed-Term for 36 months
The School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a full-time Research Associate to lead ‘the purification and processing of gypsum from end-of-life plasterboard’, part of the EU H2020 funded ICEBERG project. The post is for a fixed term contract of 36 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a flagship H2020 project joining a multi-disciplinary European team with an extensive portfolio of EU funded projects and world-leading research and industry expertise in resource recovery systems from end-of-life building materials.
The Research Associate will be responsible for the design and execution of an experimental programme for the purification and processing of gypsum from end-of-life plasterboard the development of a pre-industrial prototype of high-purity recycled content plasterboard in cooperation project partners.
