Fixed term maternity cover, to start in May 2024, for 6 months (or earlier return of the postholder).

Loughborough University has an exciting opportunity to join the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering as an Administrator in the Postgraduate Research office.
Working with the School’s PG Programmes Manager and alongside the School’s Postgraduate Research Officer(s), the postholder will participate and assist in all matters associated with PhD student administration.
As an administrator you will work as part of a dedicated team overseeing the administration of postgraduate research programmes; working closely with colleagues from the Doctoral College Office (DCO) and the School’s Associate Dean of Research and Innovation (ADRI) Director of Doctoral Programmes (DDP) to deliver excellent and individualised customer service and manage the day-to-day administration of the School’s provision of postgraduate research/PhDs.
Experience of working in an administrative role, in an HE academic department/school environment, would be beneficial.
You will be positive and professional, with excellent interpersonal and IT skills. A strong team player, highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, you will have a proven ability to apply HE administration processes and regulations, whilst retaining a focus to treat each of our students as a valued customers as we implement our strategic plans.
