The School requires a Student Support Coordinator to join and lead our Undergraduate student administration teams, focusing particularly on the departments of Chemical Engineering and Materials.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in administration, either in a senior administrative or professional role in an HE setting. They should be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of student administration and the key points and pitfalls of the annual administrative cycle. They should also possess a clear knowledge of the regulations and codes of practice relating to taught degree programmes. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal with a wide variety of people at all levels using judgement, diplomacy and tact. Finally, they must have the ability to supervise and coordinate a team of approximately six people, allocating tasks and providing direction.
