Senior Research Associate - Safe and Smart Mobility (SafetyCube Project)

Fixed-term Maternity Cover
Applications are invited for a temporary position (maternity cover) to work on the EU funded SafetyCube project. The project is coordinated at Loughborough University and involves 17 international partners. It has the objective to develop a new road safety Decision Support Tool for policy-makers to provide the best scientific information about road safety risks and measures.
The post-holder will lead the Loughborough team and also lead a project Work Package on the design and operation of the system.
The expected start date of the maternity cover is 1 August 2017 continuing until 31 January 2018 (subject to earlier return of the post holder). We are seeking applications from researchers with a PhD dissertation in safety or mobility research or equivalent experience.
