Department of Human Resources
Loughborough University is one of the UK's top Higher Education providers who strive for excellence in everything we do for our students and staff. We are looking for a HR Partner who is passionate about the job they do, committed to developing strong working relationships across their stakeholders, and driven by the need to deliver nothing but the very best results and excellence in customer service.
In return you can expect to be part of a highly-motivated HR team, set on a superb single-site campus. That coupled with a desirable pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, the opportunity to work and develop yourself whilst supporting some of the most unique and interesting academic and professional service staff in the sector, and you've got a winning combination.
Does this sound like you?
We are looking for a hugely talented, passionate and tenacious MCIPD qualified individual who thrives in a fast-paced challenging environment; someone who is above all focussed on really getting stuck into to the role. You will be an engaging, credible professional, with the ability to see the bigger picture, and importantly good-humoured.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with solid generalist HR experience and a track record of HR partnering at a strategic and operational level.
You will be able to deliver effective, impactful and engaging communication and will be someone with great interpersonal and influencing skills with colleagues at all levels, both within HR and across the University.
You must have the confidence to act on your own initiative and work autonomously whilst taking responsibility for decisions, finding practical solutions to problems and addressing challenges in tight time frames.
You will be someone who constantly seeks to improve HR and operational ways of working, supporting and managing organisational design and change programmes, as well as sensitive and complex casework, with measured outcomes and milestones. You will guide, coach and inspire others to reach a common end goal.
We are developing the face of the HR service that is delivered to the University and you will play a key part in this. You will have to deal with ambiguity and you will need to be resilient to push things through, but you will also get to work with fantastic and supportive colleagues in an outstanding setting.
