Loughborough University has an exciting opportunity to join the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering as a Research Associate in Modelling of Flow through Porous Structures.
The project involves the modelling of flow through porous structures manufactured using Additive Manufacturing. The data will inform design decisions for the structure. Flow velocity, pressure drop, tortuosity and permeability are main features to simulate and measure. We are looking for an engineer or scientist who has experience in the use of COMSOL or other CFD softwares, and CAD packages to manipulate STL reconstructions.
