School of Science
2 positions available: 1 Fixed Term for 6 Months (or earlier return of the post-holder) and 1 Open Ended

The School of Science is seeking to appoint two motivated and dynamic individuals to join the Student Support Administration Team. One position is available on a full time basis; and one post is on a 6 month fixed term contract. The roles will be based in the School of Science Central Park Administration Hub which is the main service point for all Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Foundation students. The team of nine work closely together to support all aspects of student and teaching administration for Undergraduates, Postgraduate Taught and Foundation Year students. The duties undertaken by the post holder will therefore cover a range of student administration tasks and may vary from time to time.
Applicants should have previous experience of working in a similar busy office environment, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to cope under pressure and handle high volumes of work in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work under their own initiative to complete their specific duties but work well with the wider team to ensure an excellent service provided to staff and students. A flexible approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines are also required.
