Teaching Centre/Graduate School
To contribute to the strategic objectives of the University by supporting the development of postgraduate research students. This will encompass the design, promotion, delivery and evaluation of training and development programmes, through both face-to-face and blended learning. The post-holder will be expected to foster and embed a research informed, evidence-based approach to researcher development. This is a joint appointment between the Teaching Centre (soon to be renamed the Centre for Academic Practice) the Graduate School and Loughborough in London (LUiL). The post holder will be based in the Teaching Centre (at Loughborough) and will also be expected to liaise closely with the Research Office, the Research Student Office and in particular with the Research Staff and Student Development Advisor, also based in the Teaching Centre, and the Researcher Development Manager in the Research Office, whose role is to provide strategic direction for researcher development activities at Loughborough. Travel to the London campus may be necessary from time-to-time.
