Sports Development Centre
We are seeking to recruit a highly passionate and experienced Strength and Conditioning coach to join our team.
The successful applicant will possess very strong interpersonal skills and work closely with coaches and multi-disciplinary team practitioners to help achieve performance goals.
The post holder will be responsible for planning, programming and coaching Strength and Conditioning, which is evidence and practice based. They will deliver to a portfolio of sports and predominantly students, but may also support external clients. Furthermore, they will take an active role in developing the technical skills and capabilities of junior practitioners, and lead on external CPD and special projects.
A degree in Sports Science or similar subject, an industry recognised professional accreditation and a demonstrable record of continuous professional development in applied Strength and Conditioning are essential. A qualification at higher degree level specialising in physical preparation of athletes is also desirable.
