0.5 FTE Fixed Term post for 1 year with possibility of renewal subject to the availability of external funding
We are seeking a researcher to work on a DFID-funded research programme: "Delivering Inclusive Financial Development and Growth". The researcher will work on two projects: Cross-border Bank Contagion in East Africa; and: Mobile Technology and Financial Inclusion in West Africa. The work will involve the formulation and estimation of econometric models, using data downloaded from public databases. It will also include the formulation and analysis of a structured survey concerning mobile phone use in Ghana. The successful applicant should hold a Ph.D in finance or economics and experience in using standard econometric packages such as Eviews or Stata.
