The Centre for SMART at Loughborough University is seeking to exploit the results of four years of research into the use of sensors for resource efficiency improvement in food manufacturing. Consequently the Centre is looking for a technically competent individual who will complete the automation of two laboratory-scale demonstrators for control of water usage, and for reduction of food waste, and carry out experimentation with the realised systems.
The project will give an opportunity for the post holder to build knowledge and skills relevant to two fast moving and sought after competence areas; resource efficiency and cyberphysical systems.
