This is a fantastic time to join the University’s Change Team as we embark on implementing the University’s 2030 strategic plan: Creating Better Futures. Together.
Our new strategy has set the vision for where the University wants to be. To help achieve these ambitions, the University has established a framework and approach to govern, manage and deliver an ongoing portfolio of business change projects. We are looking for two experienced Senior Change Business Partners to support Senior Leadership in governing, managing and delivering this portfolio, working in close liaison with the Change Team.
You will guide, facilitate and support the new University Strategic Core Plan Boards in developing, prioritising, planning and managing the delivery of their portfolios of transformational change projects, working as a key member of these boards, and building close relationships with the Directors and Senior Leaders involved.
In addition to proactively managing portfolio-level issues, risks and dependencies, you will guide and facilitate the start-up of new programmes and projects and their governing boards, as well as supporting capability development of those involved. The role provides a vital link between the Change Team, its Strategic Portfolio Management Office, and senior leadership involved in the governance and delivery of the Strategy and will act as both a subject matter expert and a mentor in this capacity. As well as inputting priorities, resourcing and support needs to the Change Team, the role also involves actively encouraging Boards in innovation, horizon-scanning and forward-thinking as well as identifying and maintaining future project pipelines.
You will work with a range of colleagues including senior leaders from our academic and professional services communities and must have excellent stakeholder engagement skills plus significant experience of working effectively at this level, and the credibility which goes with this.
You will have a proven track record of delivering successful business change cross-organisation programmes and projects in a range of contexts. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their judgement, adaptability and ability to hit the ground running, as well as the strong interpersonal and communication skills required at this level.
This role provides the opportunity to drive and sustain long-lasting change at Loughborough University and to support its continuing success and growth.
