Health and Safety Services
Do you want to make a difference when you go to work each day? Do you want to be part of the team that keep people from harm and who form part of the moral compass of the University? Then this could be the role for you.
This post provides support to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team. That means making sure that the team get to see the people they need to maintain good standards of safety for the University. It means working with the team to analyse data and produce good quality reports that will influence people. By working with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, this role will also be central in making sure that the University has the right health and safety training available at the right time.
In this role you will also be responsible for maintain the University’s accident reporting system.
The post holder will report to the University Deputy Health, Safety and Risk Manager supporting the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team in the effective delivery of Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the University.
You will have GCSE grade C and above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent); have experience of working in a team; have a good attention to detail and experience of using IT systems.
