Student Support Team Manager. Full time, open-ended post.
We require a Student Support Team Manager to lead the student support team across the School.
Loughborough is a top 10 UK University and the School has a reputation within industry and academia for research excellence and producing highly trained, well-educated and professional engineers. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in administration, either in a senior administrative or professional role in an HE setting. They should demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a large team and should demonstrate enthusiasm for providing a first-class experience for our students. The successful candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of student administration and the key points and pitfalls of the annual administrative cycle. They should also possess a clear knowledge of the regulations and codes of practice relating to taught degree programmes.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal with a wide variety of people at all levels using judgement, diplomacy and tact.
