Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a researcher in Spatial Data Science to work across The Schools of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, and Design and Creative Arts, and Charnwood Borough Council, to operate and manage the new regional data observatory for ‘The Impact Hub’ (TIH) interdisciplinary project, as part of the wider Healthy & Innovative Loughborough project funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
A spatial data scientist is required for 36 months to identify appropriate datasets and curate them for public display and/or distribution and to play a key liaison role between the two institutions.
