STEER Project Manager (Climate Compatible Growth Programme (CCG))
Full time, fixed term until 31 March 2025.
Loughborough Centre for Sustainable Transitions: Energy, Environment and Resilience (STEER) is seeking an excellent Project Manager. STEER brings together large FCDO-funded programmes on Climate Compatible Growth and Modern Energy Cooking Services as well as innovative projects on inclusive and integrated energy planning. STEER’s mission is to accelerate the transition to inclusive, sustainable, and resilient energy systems through innovative research, analysis and capacity building. This position provides an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in that mission.
The role holder will lead the day-to-day management of a substantial portfolio of projects within CCG and STEER. To coordinate management of contracts with project partners and collaborators, monitor and manage project progress and to ensure CCG is meeting all the success criteria for the projects and ensuring each is meeting the deliverables of the project.
You will have substantial, relevant experience in a professional or academic capacity; experience of managing large, high-value projects; and proven experience of interfacing with multiple stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships.
