The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant/Associate to a project which aims to support the research group with developing Python-based distributed reinforcement learning, and contribute to publishing in top-tier AI venues.
The appointment will be made at Grade 5 or Grade 6 depending on experience, and is fixed term until March 2023.
The main objective is to develop a variety of RL approaches in collaboration with the research team and test different algorithms in simulations against state-of-the-art baselines. The post holder will work in close collaboration with other members of the research group and international partners.
