2 post are only available to students from the School of ABCE who have completed either two years of: Architectural Engineering or the BArch Architecture Programme and are seeking a Placement from September 2022.
These posts will investigate heat loss in campus buildings using drones, cameras and BIM (Building Information Modelling) software, working with academics from the Building Energy and Geomatics Groups in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering . The placements will be supervised jointly with FM.
Post 1 - The ideal candidate for the first internship will have successfully completed at least 2-years of the Architectural Engineering degree course and will have experience of working alone or as part of a team. Applicants will have an interest in sustainability and net zero, performed well in modules containing thermodynamics, have excellent organisation and time-management skills and the ability work efficiently on their own initiative. Our multidisciplinary team values positive communication and we are looking for someone with excellent oral communication skills.
