Loughborough University London is seeking applications for a full-time Learning Partnerships Manager.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to develop and enhance the reputation and reach of Loughborough University, London.
We are looking for a new colleague to provide development support and leadership in delivering learning partnerships with organisations, communities and companies that enhance our curriculum and continue to deliver a world class student experience. The key learning partnerships include the Collaborative Project and Dissertation modules, but will also involve other initiatives that engage teaching, research and enterprise activities within academia.
The Collaborative Project is compulsory for all students and involves working on real challenges set by organisations/companies sourced by you. The Dissertation module is also compulsory for all students who may opt to complete a research project with an organisation/company that would-be sourced by you.
You will use your initiative and experience to develop tailor-made learning engagements, short courses, workshops and other strategic learning partnerships. Your role will also actively contribute to linking learning activities and emerging research opportunities.
We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking colleague with good experience of developing partnerships with business or other organisations and the education sector. You'll have experience of managing and influencing relationships with internal and external partners or clients. We are particularly interested in candidates with an awareness of working with international students.
The expectation is that you'll be educated to degree level or have equivalent work experience. You'll also need to be ready to be challenged and naturally enjoy change and new initiatives.
