A great opportunity has arisen to join The Wolfson School’s Technical team to provide expert support and supervise and coordinated our mechatronics systems technical support to Researchers and Students.
You will bring specialist expertise in mechanical, electrical, control systems and computer engineering, ie mechatronic and robotic systems to the electronics workshop. The role holder will complement a team of highly skilled technical staff in supporting Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG), and Research projects within the School and will supervise and coordinate our technical support work in this research area.
This specialist Technical Supervisor will provide expert research support to the Academics (from all schools) and will supervise school and research funded technical staff in this core area. You will coordinate this closely with our existing Electronics Technical Supervisor and the Mechanical and EA Workshops Supervisors to provide an enhanced mechatronic and robotic systems technical services to Researchers, Academics and Students.
