Sports Development Centre
Part-time, 24 hours per week and fixed term maternity cover for 12 months or the earlier return of the post holder, whichever is the soonest.
We are seeking to recruit a highly passionate and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team as maternity cover for 12 months or the earlier return of the post holder.
The post holder will be responsible for planning, programming and coaching Strength and Conditioning, which is evidence and practice based. They will deliver to a portfolio of sports and predominantly students, but may also support external clients. Furthermore, they will take an active role in developing the technical skills and capabilities of junior practitioners, and lead on external CPD and special projects.
A degree in Sports Science or similar subject and a demonstrable record of continuous professional development in applied Strength and Conditioning are essential. Also, industry recognised professional accreditation and a qualification at higher degree level specialising in physical preparation of athletes are desirable.
